Malinda is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). Originally from Ohio, Malinda began her undergraduate nursing career in 2008 & has since worked in various states at multiple teaching & community hospitals developing a rich clinical background in various inpatient/outpatient specialties (including medical-surgical, trauma, cardiac, & endoscopy nursing). Upon moving to Rhode Island, she obtained her master’s degree education from the University of Rhode Island, graduating from their Family Nurse Practitioner program in December 2017.
Her areas of interest include Lifestyle Medicine & Community Faith-Based Nursing. Her philosophy centers upon daily partnering with patients, empowering them to take an active role in improving their health. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Malinda takes joy in serving patients of all ages. She’s available for sick visits, follow-up appointments, and annual wellness visits. Malinda is currently in the process of happily relocating to southern Rhode Island with her husband and two, well-loved dogs.
